No. This program is designed for athletes who are new to HYROX as well as those looking to improve their performance.
If you have a basic level of fitness and are comfortable with both strength training and running, you’ll be able to follow the program. Scaled options are included so you can adjust volume and intensity as needed.

The program is designed to reflect the movements used in HYROX races.
Access to the following equipment is helpful:
• treadmill or outdoor running
• ski erg, rower, and/or assault bike
• barbells and dumbbells
• kettlebells
• sled (push/pull)
• wall ball
• sandbagMany sessions can be modified depending on what equipment you have available.

The downloadable program includes all workouts, warm-ups, and race preparation guidance so you can train anywhere with the appropriate equipment.
The in-person training option simply adds coaching, community, and accountability for athletes who want to train with us at LIFTED.

The program is designed to begin approximately 9 weeks before your race, with the final week used as a taper to reduce volume and allow your body to recover before race day.
If your race is further out, you can repeat certain weeks or maintain base training before beginning the program again.
