What to expect
This is an opportunity to hang with your LIFTED team, exercise, surf, meditate and enjoy the food and culture of a Dominican surf town that I’ve been visiting for the past 10 years.
I'm also very excited to share one of my passions with you on this retreat: Surfing! Surfing is optional but it will be a part of the trip and I am hoping you fall in love with it like I have. We always reserve ALL of the rooms for our LIFTED crew at the El Encuentro Surf Lodge in the town of Encuentro, a sleepy surf beach community just 20 minutes from the Puerto Plata Airport and 20 minutes from Cabarete..

On this trip, we will have the opportunity to spend time with the the incredible staff at El Encuentro Surf Lodge. Holly has led retreats all over the world and over the past few years has made The Surf Lodge and the north coast of The Dominican Republic LIFTED'S home away from home. You just can't beat the hearts of the staff, the delicious food, the endless adventure and perfect waves! It doesn't matter how many times you come, each time feels a little different yet very much like home.

EL ENCUENTRO SURF LODGE
The El Encuentro Surf Lodge is an exclusive boutique hotel located three minutes walking distance from the famous surf beach, Playa Encuentro at the marvelous north coast of the Dominican Republic. Read a book or nap at your private pool and jacuzzi. Or simply find your own little piece of paradise as you relax in the beautiful gardens surrounding your home for 5 nights. The Surf Lodge has a mix of King and Queen rooms all with private en-suite bathrooms. Some of the amenities of the hotel include: Salt Water Pool, Pool Bar, Massages, Security and free Wifi

Booking Options
Superior Suite
The Superior Suites are located in the upper tropical garden of the main hotel. Each Suite accommodates up to 4 guests with approx 430 sqft. total. Each studio has a California king-size bed, 1 sofa bed which is 6.6 ft long and 2.3 ft wide, and another sofa bed which is 5.2 ft. long and 2.3 ft wide. Enjoy your fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, coffee machine, blender, toaster, stove and dishes, and glassware for 4 guests. Relax at your large and comfy sitting area or on your private terrace. The private bathroom comes with a shower and W/C.

Double Room
The Double Rooms are located in the lower garden of the main hotel and offer a garden view which you can enjoy from your private terrace. The room can be set up with two twin-size beds or one king-size bed and can accommodate up to 2 guests on an approximate area of 215 sq ft. / 20 sqm. Every Double Room has its own private bathroom with shower and W/C, ceiling fan, A/C, and a mini-fridge. Pool towels are provided.
